Ski, Dine, Wonder who is living there and make new friends on the road....

This is the Ski Dubai from the outside of the Mall of the Emerites. The locals love this place. The place offers you an opportunity to ski with them really for a reasonable price. When Robbie was here it was July 19th and 115 degrees out side and inside he was skiing. They supply you with a coat, pants, skis, poles and boots. You could pay a little more for an local to teach you how to ski. All you need to bring is your own hat and gloves. Robbie said 2 hours is more than enough time to experience this. For those real skiers I'm sure it would only last a couple of runs. The price runs around 60-70$ USD.

This boat looking building is the Burg Al Arab. A 7 star hotel. A local favorite of many I'm sure. I believe if it looks like gold, its is. This is were Matt Lauer was on top broadcasting on the helicopter pad, "where in the world is Matt Lauer "last year on the Today Show. When your at Wild Wadi the water Park next to it you can see the pad and all sorts of flying machines coming and going.

This is just a few more of all the buildings in construction in the desert. You have to wonder who is going to live in all those buildings?

This is a new friend I found on the drive to Dubai. He saw me taking pictures from the car and kept waving at me. He didn't want me to forget him. He wanted to be blogged too.
