To our Journey's End

On June 21 we had the Stone Family Reunion. It was about a year in the works with monthly phone calls as a group and lots of work in preparing for the big day. The posterity of John Fredrich and Minerva Caroline Stone were represented there. The scenery driving there was green and a few scattered showers that threatened to rain but didn't.
Just a few fishermen floating down the Snake River.
This is on top of Piney Pass. I used to get sick every time we went to Driggs due to the curvy road. TMI- I know but I thought I'd share that tid bit with you.

Dinner Iowa style

We had dinner at the local road side cafe. This is a lot of the International side of the company that had attended the conference.
The group did a presentation and had their team shirts on to prove their team spirit.

Oh I love tractors

The whole time we were in Iowa he kept saying,"Do you think if I just stopped and asked someone in the fields if I could just drive the tractor and disc or something that they would let me?" He had it really bad. He wanted to drive a tractor. If he had a tractor in AD I think he would drive it to work. He loves farm work. We drove around on Sunday after church and found the John Deer Museum in Moline Illinois. He got to sit in the biggest tractor made. He had that smile on him the rest of the day.
Just like a kid in the candy store.

We went to the museum store after and bought a tractor toy to sit on his desk in AD. He was happy and figured it was good conversation piece for talking to clients. Yea right. Sure what ever you say.
