This is the girls cousin Tosin. He is the son of Danny and Emily.

I tried to change my flight to leaving on August 3rd so that I could take one last shot at Robbie big race from Park City to Evanston Wyoming and back to Park City but Delta was going to charge me 960$ so that killed that fun idea quickly. Now is the panic of over weight luggage. I've been in the US to long and I need one more suitcase to weigh about 70lbs which I can't have so now I have to go through the pain staking sorting process, highest priority items go into the checked bags that don't weigh a lot and then my two carry ons that i can lug with me to put heavy stuff in. The airlines will charge me a load of money if its 5lbs over weight so I have to make sure something that is heavy that cost $5 doesn't end up really costing me $80 in over weight charges. I'm sure I will have to send a box to Muscatine.

I think this guy was alittle slow in responding to hitting the ball, I don't think he can get the bat going soon enough to hit the ball that is right there.

We now have a BB player in the family!!!

This game was a couple of days before the wedding in Brigham City, Utah. TJ was the pitcher of the night. I hadn't taken any BB pictures before so it was fun to get some to the shots in action. I don't know any of the names of postitions or any of the names for things so I will give it my own interpetion. Fully expecting to get the correct termanolgy in detail as soon as this is posted. ( This stance is called the invisable eyes behind the head pose to see if anyone is running quickly to the next base) I don't know what all the stats were that night but I did hear 9 strike outs. Go TJ!!!!!

The fireworks finally

Our bunch got on the roof of the house to watch the fireworks at Sugarhouse Park. I didn't tackle the trip on the roof. I problably could have but I would have had to come down and that is where I would have had a problem.

The lights and sounds of everything was a nice ending to a fun 4th of July.

We drove up Imigration Canyon in the morning to take a picuture of the mountains. Its very pretty and very green still. they had lots of water this year so it hadn't dried out to bad yet. In the distance in the light blue is the Salt Lake Valley.

More of those great wasatch mountains.

We had dinner at Pauls neighbors house that evening. Here the lovebirds are all smiles still.

Update on Grandma Montana

I'm headed to Montana today to see Mom. She has had two chemo treatments and is now suffering from a blood clot in her arm. It goes to her wrist to her elbow( I don't know if the clot is that big but that is where it hurts) and so she is in a lot of pain. She is on blood thinners and pain pills so hopefully that will help. I will be back on the 22nd. I will have intenet there but not on my computer. Hers works most of the time. Hopefully I can bring some sunshine and cheer her up.

Early SATURDAY morning on the hill.

Uncle Bobbie riding his bike in the Porkypine Hill Climb... the grade up the canyon ranges from about 5-12%. Tough ride but he loved it. I got some good pictures in with my new Tripod. I really need my book to the camera to figure out something to do with it.
